I'm just an average Mom living a normal life with 3 kids, and up until the end of last year, I never used to have an issue with my weight at all. I regularly swam, cycled and was generally very active until a sudden change in my life meant I couldn't carry on exercising. |

that would take all day and
I realize that your time is
precious. However, as I'm
sure you can guess, the
inevitable happened... the
reduction in exercise (and stress
eating) meant that I began
to put on large amounts of

very long
story short and after putting up with

over four months, I began looking for
ways to return to my former weight by exercising once again and trying the major diet
brands. However, I had almost no success
after paying quite a lot of money (for the gym & the diet programs)
that I can honestly say that I was on the verge of giving up...

My husband told me about how he purchased a new e-book on the internet and how he was really impressed with all the infromation that it contained. He mentioned that it talks about all these great exercises for reducing overall weight and developing a "lean body" (I think that's what he called it...) When I asked him what the name of the e-book was, he said, "The Truth About Abs". Hearing the word 'abs', I thought to myself, ahh, it's one for the guys.
At first, I didn't give it much thought, but something inside of me said to have a look over the book and see if there was anything that I could use. So the next day, I got on to his computer, and found the e-book. Within a matter of minutes, I was overwhelmed at the amazing exercises and nutritional information that was contained in this book
The author, who's a persoanl fitness coach and nutrition specialist, explains why spending hours of cardio at the gym is not very effective for losing weight. After reading through the whole book. I decided to make a start, I had tried everything else, what more could I lose. So I began to go through the one's that I thought were good exercises for love handles and follow them to the letter, it was nothing too strenuous and they can be performed in a relatively short period of time. I thought one of the most interesting things I learnt was about sit-ups and how they are pretty useless as exercises for love handles.
I continued the exercises for a few weeks, when BANG, out of the blue my husband said to me, 'honey, i think you've lost one of your love handles". Can you imagine that!
Something that I would have completely ignored because of the title, had actually worked and these exercises were helping me to lose my love handles. I guess the old saying, "Never judge a book by its cover" is exactly right! I still believe that if my husband hadn't purchased the book, then I would have just skipped over it when looking for exercises for love handles on the internet. So this is why I wanted share my story!

After the first 3 weeks of using what I thought were good exercises for love handles in the e-book, it was obvious that they were working. I was now losing weight consistently and at a healthy speed, and more importantly, I wasn't putting it back on.
The other good thing was that I had more energy and felt much healthier and happier. Even though I'm not quite at my optimum weight yet (I need to lose another 6lbs (2.5kg)), I have lost 17lbs (8kg) so far and by the time I update this website next month, I will almost certainly have reached my target weight and weirdly enough, it was kind of fun doing it!
